Not only is it important to us to build great websites, we also pride ourselves in being one of the quickest web design companies in the business. To give you an idea, we can build a fully functional bespoke ecommerce site with 100 products on it, full payment gateway integration, from initial quote to customer sign off within 4 weeks. It is not in our interest to drag this process out, providing our customers provide us with the information they agreed to submit we always complete on time, just look what our past customers have to say.

Most of the websites we build follow a similar route from conception to construction and we try to follow this same model when we can, obviously all projects differ and we will tailor this plan to you and your sites needs.

Information you need to acquire:
To aid us with our initial quote, it helps if you can provide some simple information to make sure we are talking on the same wavelength. We would like you to tell us what your website is to achieve for your business. Please provide 3 examples of other websites you like because of their design or functionality, another 3 examples of your competitors sites, and a list of 10 keywords that are important to your business, ranked in order or importance. If your website is going to be an ecommerce site it’s useful for us if you already have a catalogue we can see. For non ecommerce sites a list of pages and a brief description of content is helpful. If you don’t have all this information to hand please call us anyway to get the ball rolling.

Fisheye Quote:
After our initial discussion over the phone, we will submit our quote to you, usually within 24 hours. This will be a detailed quote summarising exactly what is included in our fees, and the cost of any potential further work.

Pre-build meeting:
We like to have at least one meeting face to face with our clients as we feel we can get a better idea of your concept, if this is not possible we can of course conduct our meetings over the phone or via webcam. At this point we would also ask for your deposit, normally 30%.

Draft Pages:
We will load up some draft pages on our testing server so you can view them, we normally complete the home page, product page and a category page and will not create any further until we have these pages right and subsequently approved by you.

Full Site Page Construction:
On approval of the draft pages we would then go on to add all your site content, do any product photography or image enhancement, search engine optimisation and keyword insertion.

Final Site Snagging:
On completion of all the pages or having added all products, we will give you access to your site on our servers and will leave it with you for a period to write a ‘snagging list’ - this is a list of any tweaks which need to me made to your site.

Payment Gateway Integration:
At this point we will integrate any third party software such as payment gateways, so they can be fully tested on our servers.

Going Live Day:
Migration of your website from our testing servers to your domain name, we complete final snagging that is based on any potential errors caused by migration.
