Our
servers are located in two diverse locations, Harbour Exchange
and Sovereign House Data centres in Docklands, London.
These locations are totally independent and run by two of
the industry leaders in carrier neutral, high availability
data centre facilities in the UK.
We locate our servers is in these two data centres and not
in our own buildings because we recognise the massive investment
poured into these chosen facilities.
Our servers operate on a redundant, scalable and bandwidth
on demand network that connects them directly to the internet
backbone in both locations and is 100% powered by equipment
from Cisco.
Access to our servers is tightly controlled by both electronic
and biometric means, through a system of airlocks and secured
areas. Entry to the data centre requires both of these means
as well as a final visual check before any person can gain
final entry to equipment. Once in the data centre activity
is recorded around the clock.
Power is supplied to the data centre from diverse locations
and is backed up with multiple standby generators.
All of our servers are specified as the fastest Dual Processor
machines obtainable at the time of purchase.
A minimum of 2 GB of ECC Registered DRAM is installed and
storage is provided by 15,000RPM Ultra SCSI hard hot swappable
drives configured as a RAID 5 array providing disk resilience
as well as maximum performance.
The performances of all servers are monitored to ensure maximum
speed and reliability. |
